I don’t think the plan is to fumble, slip over, miss targets and not tackle.
Well if it was, the KPI s of our blokes would be through the roof.

Bonus points for a 20m run without bouncing while under zero opposition pressure at a critical point in the game.

We excel at unforced errors.

But seriously, clean up the unforced errors and the result of games will be very different.

Never fear, the football operations department is on the job.

Higgo is currently undergoing an intense treatment of patchouli oil massage and Gregorian chant therapy in order to re-align his chakras.

LOL

An old coach at my club had a similar solution. He used to say that he'd chase the slowest player with a rag dipped in turpentine and stick it up their arse to get them moving.

Tell you what I think.

The AFL shutting down Giantroo's youtube account is having a bigger effect on fan engagement than anyone at the club or beyond would have thought.

We've lost the most prolific and well-made club content in the country and in return have received...what exactly?

Absolutely. The best place for North Melbourne content. Now we just have a hole.

Revenge for getting Jy off.

Our "supermacs" lmac and jmac would be all australian.

Still shits me that you had Chris Fagan front and centre on the rules committee helping to design the changes and getting a head start on preparation.

If Brad had been given the same opportunity we'd most likely be sitting 2-0 ourselves. Farcical how corrupt all of this is.

Edit: Brad did what now.. serious?

LOL, she'd axe 75% of the w***ers down at Arden Street in her first day of office!!!

Stepping outside the greater discussion here that is pretty funny.

She wouldn't even need the game explained. Just a 10 year chart of results and a staff vs tenure list put in front of her.

Then voila - coach sacked.

Yes, it's not uncommon to hear stories of these types of statistical outlier women actually being harder on the useless women beneath them.

They don't give two ****s about "group inclusion". They weed out the snakes the second they grab the levers of power.

Thatcher? Where do I vote please?!

This was the most frustrating thing on Sunday Goldie getting the centre tap out but none of our mids in the tap zone to get the clearance.

I've been banging on about this for a few years - we've never had payoff from Goldy's centre dominance (which he lost for the best part of 2 years,to be fair).

Wow, that is cold.

And not in a send Marley Williams with a torn calf back on type of cold.

Do you think Barrassi, Aylett, Mantello Pagan, Cheatley and the others who drove us to ultimate glory were any different?

They were all uncompromisingly ****ing RUTHLESS!

This is the price of victory, and it is NOT a trait that will be found amongst a random group of gender quota appointed women, and the plebs who have a vested career interest in placating them!!!!!!!!

They're only there because they're ****ing women! Nothing more!.

“I sit on the Competition Committee so I’ve had these discussions over an 18-month period, so I certainly endorse the changes because I think it’s really good for the game,” Scott said on Fox Footy’s AFL 360.

“I didn’t anticipate being on the receiving end of it in the first two weeks. I think we rank 18th for centre bounce clearances and scores against from those clearances, so it’s hurt us initially. But it’s really good for the game.

Now that I've had a couple of sleeps, my perspective is coming back. I'm actually glad that he admitted this - he knew the rules would change the look of the game but thought we would use them to our advantage. He got it wrong - as he admitted - and perhaps the week 1 Ahern error was forgivable, but doubling up on it in week 2 was difficult to take.

I've lost all most of my optimism for the season, but will be interested to see how it pans out. Just not interested enough to stay in Australian in July ...

The Aaron Hall moment on the wing - where he was under intense pressure but stayed calm and used his evasion skills 2 or 3 times until he'd identified a teammate and given himself enough time and space to balance before successfully passing - said a lot to me about our shortcomings.

We just don't have enough guys who can buy that time through evasion and deception and it leads to panic and turnovers. You don't need to be quick - Cunnington is an example. The guys who have it, Polec, Higgins, LDU, Ahern etc don't panic because they have a wide range of evasion options and are confident in their ability to buy time.

Then there're the guys who have very limited evasion and deception abilities. If we recruit these guys, they need to be put through a specialised, intense player development program. Good junior basketball and soccer programs teach a wide range of these skills - eg shoulder dipping, hip tilt, step and prop etc. They are fundamentals and not considered to be 'selling candy' like it's some non specific flashy skill. The point is, just because a recruit hasn't played basketball or soccer, doesn't mean they can't be taught the skills.

Other clubs have gone way, way ahead of us in this area because they know how crucial buying time is and the wide variety of ways this can be done. It's partly why it's so hard to get the ball back off them nowadays.

On the other hand, it appears Brad Scott thinks they're skills players are born with and aren't coachable. This has to change if we're going to develop players properly.

Another time hall showed remarkable poise was an inside 50 delivery when he hit up TT. He initially summed up another option in the pocket but considered it a poor choice, he had the time and presence of mind to re-assess and take the better option, this was light and day different to watching lmac blast away without any pressure and pick out an oncontested opponant going inside 50 late in the game.

I provide some example of ruthless women and you are forced back to gross generalisations. I can also give you myriad examples of ruthless women's teams.
Toxic femininity.

Censorship will kill us all.

If those idiots in AFL house had a brain they'd realise Giantroo is doing a service for them. Helping grow our love of the game. Take down his content and replace it with AFLX :drunk::thumbsu:

Scott also spoke directly to Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley, who was also on the show, recalling a scoring blitz in the JLT series at Alberton Oval.

“We probably got too excited, Ken, in the game against you where we kicked seven centre bounce goals and you kicked five ... I think our midfielders thought, "jeez this is gonna be a new way of scoring".

“I think our midfielders thought that was going to be an easy way of scoring … but we’ve been on the receiving end of it.”

We're the dumbest ****ing club in the league.
