You aren't suggesting a touch of hypocrisy by any chance are you?Celebrated on one hand, fine and suspended sentence when no can hear on the other. The AFL make me sick sometimes
You and about 10 other posters just re-iterate how you won’t tolerate this shit. And you’re angry. And everyone else is to blame for letting this happen.Hahahahaha. So we ‘botched it’. Funny that Rawlings was there for all of it. But I bet you according to you it wasn’t his fault?
That might be a game a set and a match.
This forum is absolutely comical at times. We keep resetting the start of our rebuild to suit the narrative and excuse the shitness. 3 wins to 3 wins![]()

Ratten being made to look a muppet there when we arguably had our most consistent patch of quality (post-COVID) under him. Geez I felt for him when the maggots spotted a soft free as LDU streamed inside 50 against the Saints
I do have to wonder (again). Just how many coaches we have to go through before we consider it's not all the coaches fault?
If you've been through a raft of head coaches, and are still losing. Maybe something else is amiss.
Yeah, the problem is the majority on here DO fully lean one way. It's always the coaches fault. And the solution is always drop the coach. It's not either or, but you also can't totally absolve the coaching staff of all responsibility. It is their job to get the best out of the players.

When you've done it 4 times and you're still getting the same results, something else needs to change.
You talk as if it’s inevitable.
What are you seeing?
What signs are you honestly seeing? Or are you like all the other naive supporters who get to the middle of the week full of dumb hope, completely forgetting the absolute pile of shit you watched on the weekend?
Uh dunno if there would be many posts on here if that went out vogueI’m choosing to see the moments when the structure holds, the pressure’s there, and we actually look like a team—like we’re close to a breakthrough. Obviously, they need to sustain that for more than three quarters! There’s a pulse!
If that makes me naive in some people’s eyes, I couldn’t care less! I’d rather that than be the person who mistakes relentless pessimism for deep insight.

If you read my posts, you won’t see “relentless pessimism”. You’ll see someone who wanted Clarko more than anyone. And wants this to be a success.
What we’re seeing is sub-mediocre and now our fanbase seems to mostly just passively accept it.
Yeah you’re naive, whether you care or not. That’s fine. I look forward to you bumping this if I’m wrong. Fingers crossed I’m totally wrong. But at this stage I don’t believe in Clarkson’s vision, or his plan, and I don’t even think he really does. It starts at team selection. It continues with how horrifically outcoached he seems to be every week. And it’ll end with us either paying him out a year or him walking.
What do you want fans to do?
Outside of this bubble of 100 or so, what do you want them/us to do in real life?
Really curious as to what non passive loos like Spudly
Brings back PTSD fwiw. Those ****ing Nasal tests parked in 6 hour queues
It wasn't the Saints, he went straight back to the Hawks. Apparently he's been a key part of their revivalWhy did Ratten leave us? Stepped in for Clarkson. Clarkson came back, then Ratts left and took a job with the Saints a few months later?
Protest.
Pickett.
Not rock up.
No, in all seriousness, there’s not a lot you can do. I just wish this club expected more of itself, maybe that has to start with fans?
Remember how Dimma reacted after losing to us last year? That’s what I want from our coach. Goddamn it, we are so tepid.
I want to know this too. It felt very abruptWhy did Ratten leave us? Stepped in for Clarkson. Clarkson came back, then Ratts left and took a job with the Saints a few months later?

that is the lot of the rabid supporter which we are ipso facto by being hereA few of us have been saying for years now that too many of our fans over-rate our list.

Sure. But they don't always hit it out of the park. Poku was no good as a 1st round pick. They have a GM who can identify talent though. We've traded for the same limited half back three years in a row
