In the middle of all that Simmo also said he will be there to say thank you and hopes lots of other north people do the same. He said it’s not just about players, it’s staff and everyone who makes up the club and has done that for decades.

Clarko good on Front Bar tonight as well.
Damn I missed front bar

Well, you avoided having to sit through 15 minutes of extremely un-funny Lawrence Mooney, impersonating a French bloke.
He must have photos of somebody at channel 7. I don’t know how he keeps getting air time. Painful.

Very easy to get air time when time when you're best mates with two of the co-hosts, Sam Pang and Mick Molloy, they've all been doing stand up tours along with with Marty Sheargold for years.

“You don’t want soft, undisciplined talent”

“Last weeks effort was pitiful”

“you can’t put up with that if you’re a coach or supporter, it’s unacceptable

This is exactly what we need. This is why I was so frustrated seeing so many supporters just brushing off shit like that last week just to keep “positive”

I feel like that was a pot shot to our current administration and the players for sure. Where was that messaging?! And the entire afl as a whole, we were tough men back then, it’s soft as **** nowadays.

No doubt what has unfolded on the field - and continues to - would be grating at the ex players/coaches/administrators as it does the bulk of the supporter base over 30 years of age.

Those players etc knew what it took to win flags - they see the effort put in today by the current day football department and they know there is no success happening here. The current day players simply don't want success bad enough and it's plain for everyone to see. Far easier to make excuses, emphasise the positives and move onto another bottom 4 finish.

Did someone let him know we had 12 players under the age of 23.5?

It’s up to the players and coaches to do something about it.

What are the supporters going to do?

I never said it wasn’t up to the players and coaches?

We got to keep vocal and not bow down to mediocrity just because we get told too. We should have high standards for our club as a supporter

Not saying whinging all the time, but have a back bone, and actually call out wtf you’re not happy about.

We should expect success soon and have higher standards. Not wasting our weekends soaking up quality time and emotion if the club doesn’t want to rock up and at least do the bare minimum which is ****ing compete in a game of footy. I’ve seen us put the cue in the rack far too many times and it’s brushed off like nothing. It’s almost expected.

To have a previous coach and a legend of the game to remind us of that, shows how far we are in actual sustained success.

Call out to who? Anonymous online people? Kane Cornes?

I’t be great if there was a way to put forward mature, constructive observations, or ask questions respectfully. Without the veil of anonymity of course, or else it would just degenerate into what we get here or “Snapper” on SEN.

Is Sam Pang still on that show? I thought he had a successful and high rating tonight show on channel 10. Or did I imagine that?

Hey giantroo sorry to be a pain, can you please share the link to Simo on SEN this morning talking about Pagan & North? I’m working in a shit service area and it kept cutting out so I had to turn it off. It’ll probably take me a while to download it, but I was enjoying the segment.

I liked the "you gotta look like you're going to beat your oppenent" and "make sure people think 'jeeze I hate playing North Melbourne'".

I think we've seen flashes of each, but not nearly enough of it and definitely not from enough players.
