Not saying he's been any good, but I love that the vision they show of Fisher while shitting on him, is a contest where he should have clearly got a free for being taken high.

It’s amazing how parasites like the Wizard always manage to get paid a high free kick when they go to ground.

First time ever sitting through a game where I was close to a tear...past few years have gone from anger to emotionless to last Fri nearly a tear as it just feels like the soul of the club no longer exists....where you look at this game and players were not even really trying and even in our crap patches over the past few decades we'd always at least scrap and make it hard at least...but there is just nothing there now...no Shinboner mentality. And prev players have came in and tried to drill this culture into the club to keep it going.

I could only listen to the 94 on the radio back then but I remember throwing my clock radio when Hunt screamed out Yabbblett. 98 against Adelaide definitely. But these are just angry moments for me personally. 5 years of this nonsense and players not even caring to play is what is really crushing emotionally.

Mire of shit's probably putting a bit of mayo on it. Finals intermittently throughout the 80s, '79 irritating but the H&A season was as good as any we've ever had.

If you asked someone where they'd rather be; in a Prelim and losing it in gut-wrenching fashion, or this endless swamp of crap, I think you'd get a pretty unanimous answer

Geez Gaso. I worked in the same building as a girl named Spider, daughter of an honoured stalwart of the club, and along with her sister, Spider was (is) also a 100% down the line North Melbourne person who's given a lot of service to the club, particularly in the days when it was run on the smell of an oily rag and relied heavily on volunteers.

That pre-season loss to the crows hit her like a death in the family. I doubt anybody could have been more devastated at the demise of Schimma as coach.

Where I was in Friday, there was just numbness amongst our fans. Lots of head shaking, "Where to from here?", disbelief at how bad it was. Not anger or tears, it just went really quiet in the last quarter as most filed out early or were dismayed our club could be represented so poorly and that after all this time we're no closer to being even at a mediocre standard.
