Don't usually notice the commentary too much, but tonight was disgusting.

Probably doesn't need a whole thread about it, but it was driving me nuts and i just need to get it off my chest.

Good game in the end though, not sure why warnock stood up at the end, should have played dead. Big left footer was always going to struggle from that angle.

Garry Lyon declaring Knockers the best kick ever before the kick and rejoicing after he missed.

I'd like to give that hairy prick one right in the shnoz, hates us that much that he can't stay impartial in his job.

I also thought it was crap. Over the top showing of Andrew Mackie for a start. I know he is wearing Davis' number but it was cutting into live* footage (*1 hour delayed footage). Tom Harley and Cameron Mooney clearing showing bias. not really sure what Mooney was adding. He said they need to kick more every time he was asked what he thinks the Cats should do. Clearly their gameplan is to handball and play on; not long kicks. Not sure what wave length Mooney is on.

Hardly a good thing said about Carlton until we almost snatched the win. When we were up, the Cats we supposedly shit as apposed to us pressuring them into mistakes. When they were in front, they were dominating and Carlton were shit because Judd was quite. I'm glad Scott acknowledged Carlton's performance...

Yeah 15m out on a 45 degree angle..... tough. Hampson wouldn't of kicked it but Jacobs would have.... oh wait.

On the commentary I think you are right.... They were practically cheering for Carlton, bit like the umpiring really :)

It was a hell of a lot better than last week.

I couldn't believe how bias the commentators were last week. They singled out Setanta like I have never seen.

Carlton should have complained about Setanata's treatment last week by channel 7.



(when I say last week, I mean our last game)

Absolutely agree.... bunch of complete morons running both the cameras and the decisions on what and when we see on screen. Disgraceful, channel 7 is pretty much why I always go to the games my teams play when possible. You just get no idea what's going on otherwise...

Yep the quick changes from the side angle (which is great) to the weird angle that was almost above but on a tiny angle was just weird. Was quite hard to tell which way was which at some points...

Yep I was fuming. They were almost laughing at him and saying oh don't give it to Setanta again. Seriously disgraceful stuff from professionals. I genuinly thought Setanta was actually quite solid when they were bagging him; he was getting the ball like a midfielder but he was playing at CHF! Pretty sure we kicked a few from his touches too...

Lyon actually tipped us this week. Seems to have a bit more faith in us than most, so if he hates us, he at least respects us.

Yes he did. He said that he had tipped us prior to Bobby Davis passing because he had a feeling, and then restated that he thought the Blues would get up in a close one. Not sure what Footy Show you were watching drunk 'n' nasty.

And Collins would've nailed that easy one Grigg choked on late in the saints game. Piss off idiot.
 
commentary was fine. the camera angles were terrible. how many times the showd the play like you were sitting in the front row. you couldnt tell which way the players were running, where they were on the field. One bit of play selwood got on the end of a chain of handballs and i didnt know where he was running and he ended up having a shot from 55m out.

That angle is good for replays, not for show the game live. use the camera from near the commentary area.

The mooney thing was ok and he was right geelong were over handballing because of our pressure.
 
Ive never seen such poor shot selection in any game of sport.

Not only was it disorientating to watch, they missed significant pieces of play and kept showing the coaches whilst the play was going, who were sitting there expressionless watching the game.

Disgraceful.
 
Worst camera work ever. Very much dreading another 5 years of this bullsh!t. Why am I seeing the mega wall of the coaches box when the ball is in play? Why are some of the shots reminiscient of the Bourne Identity with all the shaking?

Another thing, while I love watching Judd I HATE it when Bruce does the "Judd BURSTING" line. For some reason just can't stand it.
