Dunstall gave me the absolute screaming heebie jeebies during the Rickmond game. I don't think I have ever heard such biased commentary before. I was a bit surprised as i hadn't noticed him being so appalling before, but it was stomach churning. F***wit.
 
I seem to recall a commentary option on Foxtel (or it could have been Sky Sports in the UK) where two mates who supported opposite teams did the commentary and took the mickey out of each others team for the whole game...that could work as a red button option. Alternatively...get to choose a biased commentator for your team.....at least that way we would never get Jakovich.
 
There was a column from Commetti during the week where he named his best 10 WA players currently playing AFL. He had Franklin at 1 but the big surprise was he named Fyfe in there!

And no Hill? Which, I suppose, is no surprise at the moment. Sandilands was No 2. He rated Priddis which made me laugh.

Back to commentators, Dwayne Russell has got to be the worst commentator ever. Every game he commentates that involves the Eagles he brings up tanking for Darling. At least Brad Johnson queried him on it last game.
 
Anybody catch BT's nice call in the Fremantle/Essendon game?

Early in the second quarter, Stephen Hill has the ball and as he kicks, Stewart Crameri attempts to intercept/smother.

BT says "Hill's Ball's partly gobbled up by Crameri."

Love listening to BT. The shit that comes out of his mouth sometimes is truelly inspring, like the whole mini Porpii thing, and how he emphasises random parts of a word.

That cat took way too much acid in the 70's.
 
I agree, BT is the best commentator by far. He really enjoys himself and doesn't feel the need to overanalyse everything...Love the Sandeeeelands and Shhuban thing too...

Haha yes! Players must skull their drink if BT combines Oh boy, Wowee and a player's name in one sentence. For example "Wowee Nate "the Knife" Fyfe kicks a goal! Oh boy the margin is now out to 200 points".
 
BT was at his finest Round 1 last year where he developed his Barlow man-crush. Makes you feel good about the team to go back and listen to things like that.

I lost count of the number of times they called the wrong player (from both teams) and the camera work was just terrible.

Fox Sports must use their A-League camera operators and director for AFL games because sometimes they had NO IDEA where the ball was, or what camera to cut to.

Then, it would have been at least 3 times that they were busy with a bullshit replay when the play was in progress again as well.

To cap that off, Ch 7 decided that SGIO would be a good advertiser during a Docker game, including child-frightening images of Eagles players.....

Oh, and Danny Drawley, GTFO!!!!!!!! :thumbsd:
 
Simple: Frawley should not commentate Melbourne Demons games. It's bad enough hearing when he does a Vic - interstate calling.

I massively feel what your saying right there.

Usually the commentary just washes over me, unless theres some classics from Bruce (I know)/Dennis/BT etc, but he made some of the most idiotic comments I've ever heard today. I can;t quite remember what it was, but it was the single most stupid comment I've heard from a commentator.

No wonder his coaching career was so terrible, the guy is braindead.

There should be a mental height restriction, sort of like what they have for roller coasters. No pygmies allowed.
 
I'd near guarantee that the conflicted player agents Pickering, Lynch (and I think there's another) on Fox are "working" for free.

Fox / Limited News never see a conflict of interest they don't like.
