He was trying to keep the crows in the game - and i couldn't believe it with 5 min to go he was going off when he thought the crows were back in it - they only had to get 4 goals and a point - something that was just not going to happen, but Dwane somehow saw a way through -

Can't wait for winners to see what he take will be on it then

The other commentators were awkwardly quiet when Russell was trying to convince everyone the Crows were back in it with a junk time goal 5 mins to go, probably couldn't believe the stuff he was dribbling

They pretty much spent the whole game barracking for the crows.

Agreed. I was there and couldn't believe the ridicuolous commentary... obviously not watching the same game. As far as I'm concerned it was pretty much all over after half time our performace was so dismal. But thats not to take it away from you guys either... well done - a really good 4 quarter effort.

I thought the commentary was Ok today, giving a reasonable description of what was actually happening on the ground. My view is no doubt coloured by the fact of us leading all the way as generally I find Russell to be highly irritating.

Generally speaking..., most AFL games are over commentated. Give these guys a microphone and they feel the need to speak, and a lot of it is just to hear the sound of their own voice.

Sadly, Clinton Grybas is still missed, but if I had to pick someone whom I quite like, then it's BT !! He has some serious man-love for Barlow and I can handle that.

After the Hawks finals in 2010, commentary cannot go any further backwards. Quartermain was disgustingly biased in that game to a level that cannot be matched. Dunstall and Dwayne obviously aren't fans of Fremantle either.

Just now on the pre-game show on Fox they spent the minute or 2 reviewing the game focusing on how amazing Dangerfield is. No mention of Fyfe or Mundy. McPharlin might as well be invisible.

I'd say this will likely be the case all week, all the kudos for Rodney's Dangerfields team inspiring goal and very little to speak of for us, Oh well.. Just means teams can continue to underrate us just a little bit longer.

It was ridiculous that Russell didnt concede that the crows were beaten until there was 3 miutes to go in the last quarter. Game was over at quarter time
