i honestly havent been watching much of the commonweatlh games, and the only reason i have it on channel 1 is because im waiting for the formula 1 race to start. But holy crap thats the most nervous and excited ive been for any sport of these games so far. Wales were literally 1 metre from winning the game in both attack and defense.

It's easy to be cynical about the Commonwealth Games and it's worthiness as a sports event but moments like that make it worthwhile. It gives places like Scotland a chance to compete as their own country and host the event which they can't do with the Olympics.

Yeah and well done to Ch10 for sticking with the Scottish celebrations, it's nice to see other countries enjoy their success as well as Australia.



Their national anthem is even better than The Proclaimers 500 miles song, especially when it's sung at Murrayfield before rugby matches.

I was shocked they didn't have medical/support staff with her as soon as she crossed. Not sure what they could have done beyond confirming she didn't have anything she wouldn't just shake off with rest, but it would have been rather bad (in many ways) if she died there when it could have been prevented.

Yeah felt quite horrible for that time laying on the ground waiting for someone to help here.

Absolute joke public transport. Trying to get to Hamilton just south of Glasgow via train. The 2 platforms that headed that way at Glasgow Central were closed, was told to get a train from Argyle Street instead. 100m queue just to get into the station.

I'm currently watching one of the shooting finals on the live stream. It has an Australian in it, but still no mention of the event.

Considering a lot of their 'live' crosses aren't live at all, you'd think they could work some content...either replays or sports they didn't show (much) of.

Then there is what the choose to show...Showing a few highlights of the hockey for that action packed event, the marathon Surely they could have done that the other way around for example.

I am. i changed to the F1. Really clever of ten to get more people to watch it.

they waiting for the 100M, but come on. not hard to have a replay package of some sport from earlier in the day to finish on the exact time.

think they stuffed up by not having the 2nd channel as well. would stop all these complaints. so annoying.
