Didn't see the heats, but going on times, PB this year and semi-finals (Galvez only 0.2secs slower), surely Galvez at $7 represents some value? Even Kukla at $15? Any particular reason why you think Coutts is a good thing?

It Coutts meet. She couldn't win the 100m free if you looked at PB's and times for the year but she did simply because she's the one in form.

Has been quite a slow meet in general, granted most swimmers are not going to get anywhere near their personal best times or records because they were swum in shiny suits, but most swimmers aren't even swimming their best times for the year.

Coutts is an exception, and is in the form of her life. She swam a 2.18 second PB to win the 200 IM and a 0.68 second PB to win the 100 free.

Kukla was well off her game in the 50 fly, around 0.5 seconds off what she swam in the trials in march. Can't see her improving drastically.

Galvez is better at the 200m, and the fact that she did not get a start in the girls 4x200m relay last night, despite being the 4th fastest aussie girl (on the team) this year, suggests that she is below her best as well.

Gandy will be the main danger.

You should have seen Phil 'Senile' Liggert commentate. That was horrible. How many times did he say Freedman instead of Freiburg and the other mistakes he made. Not to mention his huge blunder at the road race on Sunday. Horrible commentating.

Guess you were right mate. Thought he looked good in the relay and semis, and thought it was about time he won something. Aussie men are useless.

Nah, I got on him too. Only small though..hence my reaction when he lost.

I just have a feeling this guy could end up being a huge underperformer. Time he wins something. When Phelps isn't around, that's the time to capitalise.

it's a bit late now, but sportingbet didn't close the market for that 800m until over half way through the race. i think they had it matched to the timing on channel 10, when fox had it live.

might want to keep an eye out for anything else like that.

Don't think he's ever raced Phelps at a major meet. But Phelps would probably beat him anyway.

Yeah - that's what I meant in general.

When Phelps isn't racing, that's the time for swimmers to capitalise. Meets like this should be important to every swimmer because once London comes around, they will find it tough beating Phelps.

Rodionova over Peers @ $1.40

Quite simple really.

Devarrman is on home soil and he's ranked in the top 100.
Ebden is about 50 places lower than him.

Devarrman has shown better results this year than Ebden and the crowd should get behind the Indian.

Rodionova is more classy than Peers. She should flog her.

add to that the two aussies facing off in peter luczak and greg jones. luczak is atp ranked, greg jones is not. peter luczak easy.

the official site is an absolute piece of shit, best chance is to find someone updating a twitter feed.

go to google, search different combinations of words twitter, tennis, delhi 2010, commonwealth games, and whatever countries/surnames are involved.
