is it just me or are the comm games a big joke

Yep, they seem to get worse and worse every year, with this year being the worst yet.

Swimming - slow times, semi-finals are an absolute waste of time, more than half of the competitors seem to be sick.

Athletics - weak fields, shitty venue, farcical officiating.

Cycling - poor fields with none of the best brits, poor officating.

Tennis - possibly the lowest quality competition ever. 1 player in the top 100 (Devaarman ranked 97), 3 in the top 200, 5 in the top 300, and 8 in the top 400 (the 8th seed is ranked 400), and the rest are absolute spuds in every sense of the word.

Even the commentary, the television coverage, and the official website are all sh1thouse.

The rugby 7's the only event I'm looking forward to seeing.
