I didn't hate it at all, but WTF??? Last week it was spelled out clearly that City College was coming and shit was about to get real. Instead we get Jeff imagining the darkest timeline because he's conflicted about graduating? I don't get it.

I liked Chang's (who appeared back to being himself, pre-Changnesia and pre-dictator Chang, despite still being "Kevin", so that whole thing eventuated into nothing?? wtf) "Should I bring a date, or just hook-up there?"

Stoked there will be another season. This season really picked up towards the end, hopefully they're on a role. This episode, isolated, was great. But as the potentially final ever Community, it wasn't there. Last week's would have have a much better finale.

So now we officially get no reason why Pierce leaves the series? He just says he's decided to graduate and that's it? Lame. Bring Leonard into the study group to replace Pierce? **** it would be awesome if Jeff comes back next season as a teacher at Greendale.

They should have swapped this with last week's - last week was a proper season finale. This felt like it was trying for too much, much like this season, really. Rushed.

Here's how I see season 4.

Episodes as good as seasons 1-2: Advanced Documentary Filmmaking, Basic Human Anatomy, Heroic Origins (best of the season)

As good as season 3: Conventions of Space and Time, Co-operative Escapism in Familial Relations, Economics of Marine Biology, Herstory of Dance, Intro to Felt Surrogacy, Advanced Intro to Finality (perfectly fine as an isolated episode, not as a finale)

Would probably only watch again as part of a marathon: History 101, Paranormal Parentage, Alternative History of the German Invasion, Intro to Knots (worst)

The finale really summed up for me a large problem that the new writers/makers fell into; they repeated too many of Harmon's plotlines/jokes instead of making the show their own.

As I've said before, I felt that it was a good episode until I realised how it kind of lessened the impact/importance of the 'true' origins of the group in Season One. After that I kind of wanted to forget I'd seen the episode.

I think season 4 stood up to season 3 (albeit without the absolute peaks) so calls for Harmon back are a bit off IMO. The crew of season 4 also had more issues to contend with like budget, a short run, scheduling issues and the fallout of Chevy's dispute with Harmon.

Season 4 seriously lacked direction.

The whole Changnesia and City College thing should have come to fruition in the finale. It jumped around a lot, and they really mucked up getting Pierce out. Make it somewhat of a big story that Pierce has to leave and make it damn funny/somewhat sad.

That being said, bring on Harmon and Season 5.

Yeah agreed the Changnesia thing just petered out, and hoping that City College trying to take over Greendale is in season 5, and that little teaser wasn't just for nothing. Starburns to work for city college now and become their informant :D

They should open season five with Pierce's funeral. Make it a serious episode with subtle humour to really take the show back a notch with all the craziness. They should gradually introduce Chang as a new member of the group, without his over the top craziness from season 3. Have him be a little unhinged like he was in season 1.
