Honestly, most of you guys seem to be really enjoying this season, but I just can't get into it. It's just not "community" that I used to know and love.

Don't get me wrong, the episodes haven't been terrible per se, but moreso run of the mill for me.

I think Elroy and Frankie have proven to be worthy contributors, but I just don't think both are what the group needs right now for that sweet spot in the chemistry. Both are good characters in their own right, don't get me wrong.

It just doesn't feel like classic Community to me. When was the last time we heard a Jeff Winger speech to rally the troops for a stupid cause? All we see now is Jeff just drink, complain, and follow the group like the drunken dad. Ever since Troy was gone, Abed has pretty much hit the pooper as a character. Britta's gotten more annoying and I want to say something about Annie but can't really remember her "shtick".

Ah well.

It isn't "Community" as we know it. It hasn't been since since the end of season three. This season hasn't been a reclaim to form, it's still without its charms (how can it when half the cast and most of the better writers have left), but it is a far superior product to the one we've had to suffer trough over the previous two seasons.

Seasons one, two and three are Coca Cola, if you will, while season four and five were 'New Coke', and this season is 'Coke Classic' - better than the new stuff, not as good as the original.

Disagree on Britta, too, btw. She is this season's Most Improved and its Most Valuable Player. Her character has been significantly more mis-managed and mismanaged than Chang over the years, and while they haven't really fixed her, they've finally given her some better stuff to work with. At times, Jacobs comes across as the only actor still trying any more.

Yeah great episode, similar to the season 2 conspiracy episode or several Arrested Development episodes where you're not sure which person actually has the master plan until the end.

I got a couple of laughs with that one, but overall I thought it was one of the weakest episodes of this season so far. Matt Berry is great, but didn't really do much for me here. Abed was the winner with his line of thought after being told to marry The Sting!

Useless trivia, Matt Berry was in the IT crowd as most know, Joel McHale was in the pilot for the US version of the IT Crowd.

So after Mitch Hurwitz appeared as Koogler, I had envisioned Matt Besser must have existed in this universe as his loser younger half-brother. I will accept this appearance as compensation.

Horrible, horrible episode. Found it completely unwatchable.

I hate it when the show goes too far up its own ass. It was cute at first, but now it just ruins things.

Not the strongest episode of the season but it had its moments.

Jeff finding it hot when Britta was stuck in the giant hand, for example.

Will take it one step further and say that Abed is easily my least favourite character these days. Pudi overacts the part and he's soulless without Troy.

That was actually one of my favourite episodes of this season, I always like the bottle episodes as it showcases the strength of community which is the writing. Keith David has quickly turned into my favourite character.

Having said that I think the show is on it's last legs and this should be the final season. Dany Pudi, Gillian Jacobs and Ken Jeong all have roles on different TV series now, so it would be difficult to keep the cast together now. If you take Britta, Abed and Chang out you don;'t have a show anymore, you have a Scrubs season 9 scenario.

But next week will definitely be better because paintball!

There were a couple of good lines ('I'd be lying if I said I didn't poop') but otherwise that was the season's lowpoint (I hope...).

By far the worst episode of the season. Only time I laughed was at the end with the 'giant kite' line.
