Definitely agree about the second viewing. I was more interested in the Freo game so I wasn't really paying attention but watched it again today as I didn't rate it (for reasons mentioned) first time. Better on the second viewing of course. Pierce was great, as were Troy and Abed.

Don't get the hate, I loved it. Not a classic, but better than the last few eps of the first half of the season. Good to hear it rated well too.

Shirley is annoying though.

I think she's a necessary character though. I'm sure she's everyone's least favorite but she provides the contrast for characters to feed off.

I really enjoyed this episode.

I've always disliked Shirley to be honest as well but she's apart of the group dynamic, hard to imagine replacing any of the members.
Unless they're replaced with Chang

I liked how they did it, though. By showing the absurdity of having the 'Dudemeister's' name as Subway they were pulling the piss out of product placement in TV shows as well as the overbearing nature of large corporations.

Of course, maybe I'm reading too much into it because that kind of stuff is what we expect from Community week in week out.
