annie episodes, arghhh! :o

i almost sat on my balls.

edit: also, the line "is this a social cue?" was up there with "i need help reacting to something" from last week.

Don't know about you guys, but seeing two Annie's onscreen at once was nearly too much to handle.

They should have made out. ;)

This was definitely a highlight for me too.

Also another look at the Annie/Jeff after dance night bit.

Probably top 5 for Annie hotness moments.

One of the best episodes yet. I have heard complaints about S3, but I am very pro-S3. I think it has been terrific.

Personally I think that this season has been so inconsistent, the worst of the three. However I loved the last episode even if it wasn't the funniest.

Also it would be a great Emmy submission episode for Brie and Pudi, only if they ever start considering Community :o.

annie fans? i'll just leave this here:

Everyone over looks the fact everything Community's first 5 episodes are shit. After that it got better, then after the first halloween ep, it's just the best thing on TV.
Season 3 has the show's best episode 'Remedial Chaos Theory'.

Season 1: 8.5
Season 2: 9.5
Season 3: 9

Well, in my own humble opinion. The more strange the show gets, the better it is. See, again, 'Remedial Chaos Theory' or 'Modern Warfare'.

Agree with the start of season 1 being average. It wasn't until Troy dropped the jock persona did the series start to gel.

I've found series 3 inconsistent. There have been some excellent episodes but also some terrible ones like the one with Todd.

Yeah this is true, even if it was the episode with Abed's dad (3rd?) that got me hooked.

But i reckon this season's first three episodes were just as bad if not worse but like you said it picked up after Remedial Chaos Theory.

For me it would go 2>1>3, although Parks and Rec aside, its still my favourite show on tv.

Season 1 - 8 As said above it didn't start to become great until a few too many episodes in.
Season 2 - 9.5 The only problem with season 2 were one or two bland episodes.
Season 3 - 10 So far it has been the best out of the three, Remedial Chaos, Documentary Redux, Pillows and Blankets, and Virtual Systems have been standouts. Can't wait to see what they do for the season finale.

Middle -> end of season one were great, season two started going downhill until the paintball episodes, season three has been weird.

My favourite moment this season thus far is, "I need help reacting to something."

Discovered this yesterday thanks to the marathon on TV1. Fantastic show, very witty, subtle, everything I love in a comedy. The characters and cast are brilliant.

I don't think I've ever been so broken hearted watching a TV show than when Annie dated that Vaughn douchebag for an episode.

Abed is so easy to identify with. What a solder that guy is. Loved it when Jeff moved in with him for an ep. I watched the first 20 eps and that ep, along with the Annie/Shirley security ep, where my favourites.

"The next person to offer me charity or pity will be mentioned by name in my suicide note." ROFL

It's not till you re-watch some of the earlier eps that you realise how good the show is

Completely agree. I haven't been impressed with season 3 that much, with the odd exception here and there (the last three episodes being the most consistent stretch so far), I almost forgot why I loved this show so much to begin with.
It gets zannier towards the end of season 1 and throughout season 2, but there's a certain charm to the earlier episodes that the show can't quite replicate right now, no matter how hard it tries at times, and I think that's where it fails.

Second half of season 1 to first half of season 2 is my favourite.

The show became too obsessed with conceptual ideas and parodies rather than using the setting of a community college and the character relations to drive the comedy.

Having said that, Abed leaving Troy's handshake hanging to go play by himself in the Dreamatorium almost broke my heart. Seems like since the season 3 break they've gone back to a more grounded comedy situated within the college. Whether that was by design or by accident is unknown (note: I'm only up to part two of the pillow fort vs. blanket fort episode).
