It was a solid episode, can't agree with all the people saying it's great. Even read somewhere someone said it's the best Community episode of all time! And is it just me or did the songs seem really forced?

I liked it.

Didn't mind the songs, particularly the first one. Wasn't a fan of the first few episodes of the season, but it's grown on me since. It's getting the rhythms of old Community back.

There were a few good small moments throughout the episode but overall found it pretty average.

The tag was the most out of place part of any episode of the show to date.

And yeah, they just left Pierce in the woods? no explanation needed, huh? OK.

This was my least favourite episode of the season ... possibly the whole series. The whole thing felt incredibly forced and had so many cringeful moments. It almost got to the point of turning it off. If it wasn't Community, I definitely would've stopped watching.

It got an A- from the AV Club. I liked it, but not sure if it was the best of the season so far. Probably number 3 or 4 for me. Plenty of decent one-liners through the episode for me, and I'm a fan of the ones they've done in alternate formats (claymation, etc.).

I don't know if it'll be just me, and I'll be labelled a dick, but I hated the puppet episode.

I'm with you. For the most part i've liked Season 4, even when it was below average. But to me, that was the worst Community episode ever.

The episode with Todd was clearly the worst episode - Competitive Ecology.

The songs weren't great, that's what made it a medi-ochre episode for me. They weren't really funny or clever, so it kind of defeats the purpose of having them tbh.
