You've had 2 perfect answers as to why IFJ cannot finish, yet despite saying you would stop pressuring for a new comp, you go again. It's not going to stop yet, dude. IFJ is a great idea, if you look at some of the designs posted in those threads, they are all fantastic. Wanting a competition to stop doesn't help, it darkens the mood towards the competition that most people enjoy entering.

I understand that you wish IFJ will come to an end, and in good time it will.

I was going to suggest we either go through each and every team, or do the winner picks system, but stagger it, so 1 week for entries and 1 week for the poll (during the poll week, the next team can start, and so on...)

Any team, therefore the same designs won't be churned out for each club.

The only problem with that is that it will drag on very long, and entries will decline each week until the competition dies off.

I like the idea of merging it all into one etc. one week it's Port Adelaide Magpies from SANFL and then Werribee from VFL and then East Fremantle from WAFL. Instead of it being separate comps for each league

Just as a voice of caution. We are getting to a point where there may be too many comps again.

I know we only have 3 or 4 currently running (some on a periodical basis) but for those of us who have been here long enough to remember, too many comps hurts this board as people do not have time to create designs, or the ideas used in those comps become stale very quickly and the number of entries die off and those comps (though great ideas) do not reach their potential.

So I would suggest we work on the current comps, getting them to a level where they are extremely strong, have a high number of quality entries, which will also help improve the new designers designs on here (just because you design a high number of things does not always mean the quality will improve, it is better to take your time and really think about the design rather than just hammer out one design after another {quality over quantity}). Then perhaps consider adding something to the lineup down the track.

So 7 weeks = 7 comps and any teams sounds good to me . We could do Mon-Fri jersey Sat-Sun Vote thoughts?

We need more creative comps, not just "rehash old designs by recolour". I mean they have their value but we need things with more substance to them.
