Non-knock out is fine, I'm just trying to push for it.

I think it'll run like an actual season with everyone playing each other once and then finals.

How difficult would this be to implement:
- Each entrant supplies 4 jumpers - home, away, clash, heritage
- Home team wears home jumper
- Away team wears away or clash - whichever reduces clash the best
- Heritage round, teams wear heritage jumpers

etc

Not sure if we should include a heritage as it may muddy the competition up a bit, unless people want it?

like this post so I know how many people are in:

Me. I've already decided on a team and made a logo. ;) (Do you want your outline still?)

Nah, I reckon Home, Away, Clash, Logo. And have the whole set of designs play each other every week, instead of the individual kits.

What does everyone want an entry to consist of?

I prefer home vs away/clash, the other way was the only thing I disliked about the original NAFL.

E92_ start the thread already. Please.

Stop pushing for the thread to be started. If it's going to be as successful as last time, we must discuss strategies on how it is to run. We are still in that bracket now.

I had at this, but just so that all of us newbies are clear.. So we design 3 or 4 guernseys at the start, and each week one of them is judged directly against one of someone else's designs? Or am I missing something?

We design a set of kits for a certain club/team at the start (the number of kits and purposes of kits is still undecided). Each week there is a fixture, the fixture will place our team/club up against other teams/clubs. For the fixture to be completed, each match up goes in a poll and is voted on the basis of the designs.

i.e. Williamstown vs Alice Springs
"I like the use of colour and abstract shapes in the Alice Springs clash jumper, and the home jumper is simple, yet classy. Williamstown's set are almost identical to their current kits. The designer is lazy and hasnt come up with their own idea. I will vote for Alice Springs."

And you vote for each match up. Note: YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN TEAM

Using a recycled designathon entry this is my idea for the NAFL logo.

I like it. You should allow us to re-colour it to suit our designs though.

Home and Away/Clash plus logo, maybe heritage/special design (3 max).

Having more than that is just too much (aka I don't want to design that many designs for this).
