White backgrounds aswell? A few times in the last comp I knew who had done what from the colour they used as a background.

Grey because, if we have do do a clash design, or a design predominantly white, the jumper will get lost in the background.

Plain single colour backgrounds will be used, colour may be specified, however I may just let people choose either white or grey like last time (there will definitely be no patterns or defining features).

EDIT : May I make a suggestion. I think we should have default Photoshop, Paint and Illustrator template with a basic collar such as the new Adidas one to level out the playing field a little. Just a suggestion

I will be making a fair and equitable decision on the template issue, not everyone will be happy with it, but that is something that will never be 100% fixed.

I would love to bring this great competition back. Would run on a weekly basis (Different team each week) for 18 weeks.

It's CA's decision, but this is how I'd run it.

Run each MOTW round for 2 weeks, and start a new round each week. This is so that there is an overlap in rounds, so that if someone is busy 1 week, they have the next week to do their designs and still get them in and not miss out. Yet there is still a comp every week.

You had to merge an AFL team with another team from a different sporting code but the two teams had to have some sort of connection.

If it were to come back, I would much prefer it be run by pie_machine. Nothing against you Benny, but it was his competition after all.

Besides, I don't really feel that the timing is right over New Years.

Yeah I would love to see Pie Machine run it as well but I haven't seen him on here for a long time.

I've been around... I'd be happy to run it again if there's enough interest, but personally I feel that CCCC ran its course and most people would just be rehashing old designs. We could change it by nominating a non-AFL team and then people have to link and AFL team to it, but I'm not sure that would provide enough variety. Personally I'd like to revisit Merger of the Week - especially because that provides 153 different possible combinations - but that's just my opinion...
