Ouch, that's a great jumper too, always liked the Swans sash. Could it have been a technical error maybe, seeing your bid was on the very last second?

And the auctions not live, so you didn't break any rules PP.

I'll admit I may have paid a bit late (a week later, had to wait for money to come in) but still expected a message from the seller...

I guess I'm at fault for not paying quicker than I should've and the seller's at fault for not contacting me about selling it to the next highest bidder.

Did you message the seller immediately saying money is a bit tight but you'll pay them in a week?

If there was no contact from you within four days I can see the seller offering second chance offer to the second highest bidder.

They have no right to do that. Regardless they should have made contact with the buyer before a 2nd chance was offered. When you purchase a item on ebay you have agreed to there terms , 1 of which is to have a auction to highest bidder wins. Espacally when pendules did pay after a week. After 7 days a seller can opena unpaid item case with ebay. So really you have 7 days to
Pay until ebay will step in. So yes pendules did nothing at all wrong

The seller definitely should have made contact with Pendles_Pies but I can see them just opting to go the second chance offer and getting their money immediately instead of going through with this. It's not fair or right but I can see it happening.

Just got to be communicative when it comes to eBay. If you had told the seller you were just waiting on funds but they will get their money and they still did this, they're dogs. And since you did send your money but received no contact from the seller stating the item was no longer available or gave you a refund, you should definitely leave scathing negative feedback.

Yeah, sounds like a bit of fault from both sides, to be honest. Should have been contact from both, but I'd say the initial onus was on you to contact them. I've never really sold much on eBay (and nothing for a few years), but if I hadn't been paid for a listing within seven days and hadn't received any contact either, maybe I would have just gone with the next highest. They probably could have contacted you, but seven days is an eternity to pay for something on eBay (most that I've seen are within 3-5 days, or the item gets relisted). A lot of sellers even have that as a condition (money or contact within X days).

If you owed a mate $100 and couldn't pay for a week, would you be straight with him and tell him that you couldn't pay for a week, or would you sit there waiting for him to ask for the money before you mentioned it? I know what I'd do.

Yeah I agree with everything you've just said MCED, lesson learnt I guess. Hopefully I'm there when the next one comes up.

Re: Completed eBay Auctions of AFL Guernseys - *No Live Auctions* (3)

Good pickups, when will they arrive?
If my previous experience with AFL auctions is anything to go by, if it was an eBay seller who took that long to ship your item, you would have messaged them 2-3 times and probably contacted eBay directly. They take ages to ship stuff, for some reason.

Great pick up MC. :thumbsu: Been after one of those for ages. Do you have a link to that auction? My old eyes can't see that much in your reply. Cheers.

Yeah If I don't have the money to pay for something, I ALWAYS send a message to the seller telling them when I will have the money to pay for.

Sorry Pendles but as a buyer, you should of told them straight away, don't blame the seller tbh. Nothing worse than when you sell something and a buyer doesn't pay for an item 3-4 days later without contact from them saying when they will pay for it.

Hey guys 2 quick questions.

1 has anyone emailed brisbane lions to see if there going to make a run of any of there very popular jumpers? Like a re run
Of the 87 or 96? Im sure most would be happy to buy 1 for $100 like what west coast did with there 87 a few years ago.

2 what is the difference between a p.i north and a retail? Do the p.i's have the little holes?

North Melb guernsey's have the breathable type of material.

The PI's are very tight, can't lay them flat (they bunch up a little), GPS pocket on the 2011's. Not my favourite jumper to be honest.

1. Interesting question. I guess my counter to that was maybe us freaks would be interested, but would there be much more general interest than there was when they wore the Brisbane and Fitzroy guernseys originally in heritage rounds (I've read on here that most heritage guernseys sold very poorly when they were released)? It's sort of like how Hawthorn have re-released some of their old guernseys. I wonder how many of the diamond ones they sell, now that anyone can buy one whenever they want. Part of the appeal, to me, is in how rare the guernsey is.

2. This is a 2010 (I'm pretty sure) PI that I have:

Did anyone pick up that listing of four Port Adelaide guernseys, with the $160 buy it now? Sorry, I deleted it from my list after it finished, so can't provide a link, but I thought it was an interesting listing. It was the previous home guernsey (1997-2009), the clash that they wore in 2007 (including the win against Geelong at Kardinia), a yellow training guernsey and one other that I can't remember (possibly their current one). Good value.

If they did a run of 500? Would it be worth it? Or need like 1000-5000? But it has merit imo. As i would not mind if it was not a gane 1 but just a run. With koogaa being a smaller type company they may do a small run. But i know puma dont make hawks retro's its done by a small jumper company

Yeah, true. I can only go by my own feelings. And when a lot of these heritage guernseys have come out, I've thought "I always loved that guernsey. I've got to get one." And I never, ever end up buying them. Maybe it's because I wasn't a collecter when most of them came out, but I'd started collecting by this time last year, had always loved the yellow peril and never bought one...I just put other stuff ahead of it and then they were gone.
