Compliation/Various CDs prior to 'So Fresh'

Surely, SURELY the good people of Bigfooty can help me.

In the late 1990s/early 2000s there was a compilation/Various CD that came out prior to 'so fresh' cds. I remember its little mascot thingy was like a little green alien dude. In and around the late 90s a 'version 20-something' came out... 21, 22? I cant remember.

ANyway, I have done literally nothing at work all day trying to scour the internet to find it without luck.

And no, it was not 100% hits.
