Hey, who can tell me what i should do here?
I was going to sell my laptop - Toshiba SatellitePro and last night the screen died. I've heard that this happens quite a bit, and i was wondering what do i do? Do i pay $200 odd to get it fixed (not really worth it cos i was probably going to sell it for about that much - its pretty old) - or are there people that buy broken laptops at a lower price to then fix and sell or whatever? If anyone here is a computer buff, what do you advise i do? Or do i just count my losses and chuck the damn thing? :confused:

Either chuck it. Or sell it on ebay saying it is broken. You might get a little bit for it, but not much.

Certainly not worth fixing.

I suggest you throw it out a window or something, smash it up with a sledge hammer! Imagine how good that would make you feel after all the times you probably wanted to kill your computer!;)

Yeh bloody computers, when is one going to be made that doesn't freeze or stuff up every few mins.
