As an upside this gives McBean/McKenzie, Menadue/McDonough, Ellis/Arnott a crack at a game or two where they might have otherwise struggled to get an opportunity.

A full reco would have been devastating for the kid again.
After looking at the footage for a 2nd time I'm not surprised the diagnosis was jarring as there was no real hyper extension of the knee evident. Always a concern when there is history though.
Great result for the player, club and all concerned.

It was one of the few times the fact the he was unable to put weight on it was actually a good sign, usually ACL damage doesnt stop players from walking fairly normally not long after it is done
