Some comments on here about Heppell are outright pathetic and reflect poorly on your supporter base. But you guys have never cared about that. Hence your poor reputation.

Fair to say the Essendon supporters have been scathing of Conca AND Richmond supporters.

I have always been of the opinion we should judge what is happening on the footy field and inside the club, rather than generalise about a whole supporter base because of a few bad apples on a footy forum.

I have noticed lots of 'Richmond supporters this and Richmond supporters that' on BF, especially from Essendon supporters, and I hope they clean up their act in this area as it makes them look petty and childish imho.

See that's my point. I can say the same thing about Richmond supporters. The exact same thing and even worse behaviour from Richmond supporters. Remember one thing, it always takes two to tango. Never blame one set of supporters, there is nothing more childish and immature than that.

In conclusion, I think Essendon are a great club and I like the way they have gone about in the last 2 years. Heppell is a very good player and Watson is my favorite non Richmond player.

Unfortunately the majority* of their supporters are a bunch of arrogant, uppity, delusional tossers with no redeeming features. Captain Blood was right. They are Collingwood supporters who can read and right.
