I offer my condolences to the Melbourne Football Club. You have lost a trully great player in Troy Broadbrige, he had talent and he could play football. Very sad to see his football career and his life finish in such a tragic way. :( :(

That is probably one of the saddest stories that ive heard that have been linked to Football.
He'd just married and was only 24, thats awful.

My sympathy goes to MFC and Troy's family.

I too would like to pass on my condolences to Troys wife and family in addition to the thousands of others that perished in this tragedy...Certainly hope that Troy's spirit will live on and inspire the lads to greater heights

It takes an absolute tradgedy to make us all reflect on what is and what is not important.

Troy will be remembered as an absolute hero as his selfless acts have shown.

His life should be celebrated , and to all those people who knew him personally and through the football club ,stop and ponder as to how lucky you were to have known him.

My deepest condolences to his wife ,family and the Melbourne Football Club .

How fitting it will be if the Melbourne Football Club wins the 2005 premiership in Troy`s honor........I for one hope that they do.

Afl footy is better for having had Troy in it`s ranks.

my deepest sympathy to all those who knew troy, especially his family and friends. to all melbourne supporters also, what a sad loss. he is only dead to this world, and he lives on in a better place, of this i am sure. i echo the words of blueboy, would love to see you guys take out the flag this year in his honour.
