I find a couple of things funny here. The first is that, nowhere in the article does Malthouse suggest that Buckley has caused his family hell. You just made it up, which is a bit disingenuous of you.

The other thing I find funny is that the article tells us that Malthouse is 'breaking his silence' on the issue. The Hall of Fame was Tuesday, the comments by Bucks made on Wednesday, and Malthouse 'breaks his silence' after barely 24 hours has passed? **** me, we really are living in inane, vapid, superficial, one thought bubble-per minute age aren't we?

I'm kind of pissed at Bucks now for digging up this crap again, it's not the distraction we need. Biggest mistake Bucks has ever made I reckon. MM will milk it for all it's worth and try to garner sympathy votes.

MM is a serial lair. He says that his family should have seen something in the press on Wednesday morning about him being inducted - they did. Buckley didn't make his comments until well after 9am, on SEN. They had plenty of time to read all about in before then.

Same with the other inductees - to say they were cheated is just classic MM spin.

He's a sad, pathetic old goat who is now completely irrelevant, and he cant handle it.

I actually think the Nathan doing well scenario burns him up.

He’s a bit Malcom Turnbull / Kevin Rudd in that they despise their successors succeeding in any way.

Pretty pathetic.

If they really didn’t know that Mick despises Nathan, they probably were tuning out when Mick was eating his liver all these years.
