Its people like Mince Whately that are having a dramatic effect on society - negatively. He's the quintessential bureaucrat, demanding reviews and investigations into this and that, he complains incessantly about standards of sports people .....often when its very minor and he does it without having spent 1 second in the environment that those people are in, dealing with the pressure...the expectations etc. Can't stand him. He's pious, precious, up himself, sensitive. He bitches about the slightest indiscretion someone makes but you could guarantee he's also the sort of bloke who'd drive off and not leave a note on your car after dinging it in the car park.

Cant have him.

What I can have though, is a demonstrator BMW on sale now at Doncaster BMW. Only while stocks last though. (Mince Whately would probably run into it though.)
 
Whately wasn't this bad 18 months ago, somewhere along the track hosting 360 with a growing audience and his poaching from ABC to SEN, he suddenly thinks hes a big part player in the Australian sporting landscape.

The reality is he is a nobody, with limited sporting experience and to be far, he doesn't even hold an outstanding resume in his own field of journalism.

Funny watching some old games of footy on fox and he is the pip squeak boundary rider, how on earth does he think he is now the "Chosen Voice" has got me farcked!

He gets traction because he plays to the PC audience in todays society, the do gooders view on everything trying to take a moral high ground on every topic with an attempt to belittle anyone with a differing point of view. He is someone who I believe was bullied as a kid, but he is now no better than the kids who bullied him as he bullies people through his media outlets.

FLOG of the highest order.

If clarke is correct in insinuating that whateley never had the courage of playing cricket and thus his opinion is flaccid, does that mean no one can comment unless you've played at the highest level?

The problem with Mince is that he thinks he's the Edward R. Murrow of sports journalism. Unfortunately, long winded, verbose editorials like the one he gave on Clarke on Wednesday using a platform of "we weren't liked when Clarke was captain" show that he has a long way to go.

Btw, switch today to Red Energy. You know you wanna....

I used to like him. Starting to become a bit of a bore. We all know he’s swallowed a dictionary at some point but he’s OTT at the moment with his pontificating. Just needs a good cup of STFU for a bit.

I have made the switch to mac sports 1278 quite like it. Tim and the bloke that ratted on his best mate are boring. KB is ok but him and dr roll out the same old chestnuts. Whately is trying to be something he aint. I have always maintained that myself and a few mates could do a better job than some of these flogs on the media.

Mac is pretty good. Sure they have sydney w***ers talking a lot of nrl but its bearable. I guess there are a lot of victorian hosts too, so it balances out. They talk about a range of sports

Doesn't care about him, yet publishes a huge response to him and then follows it up with interviews on radio, doesn't seem like someone who doesn't care.
I wonder if people's hatred of him blind them to everything he has to say, was what he said about Clarke so wrong? I think it was a valid observation
