Good work Browney. Fletcher seems to have robbed the cricketing community of the epic battle they were gagging for, but alas. Hopefully 2009 is a better series for tight cricket, but there is plenty of hope for the Poms, with just a few small areas costing them dearly this series.

Well done there, Browney, tough luck to England, thought maybe they were a chance this time around after bundling out the Aussies for a smallish total. Looking forward to seeing more of Monty play.

Good luck to the English in the remaining tests, hopefully they can steal one to restore some pride.

Strauss has had some poor decisions go against him in this series. I thought he was terribly unlucky to be out lbw in the second innings. Hawkeye suggested the ball was going over the stumps and given that some absolutely plumb lbw's were turned down when the Aussies were compiling their big second innings you can't blame the English for being a bit peeved. I'm just glad we had neutral umpires because there would have been a few raised eyebrows if Aussies had been standing in this test.

Having said that the Aussies were by far the better team in the first three tests and the poms let themselves down by failing to take some gettable catches in our second innings.
