Geelong board.
Not at all. The amount of negative shit and regurgitated 'this player is this' or 'team A won't play finals after round 5' threads is kind of wearing pretty thin. To talk about a guy that has overcome serious injury setbacks to become a quality performer is pretty positive I'd have thought.

definitely, hard work and all that...

AJ from the Swans might be on the mend and returning to fitness

Kudos to science and all the practical surgeons that now allows you to crack one of your greatest load bearing joint in half and return to near full fitness so much better than even 10 years ago

AFL is an especially unforgiving sport for this kind of injury I'd imagine
I look forward to the game where Alex and Dan match up on each other in the not too distant future

Started the season in great form but I suspect he's been carrying an injury for the past month.

I remember that comeback game. I was watching it in Thailand at an Aussie bar with a Geelong & a Collingwood supporter. From memory Collingwood thrashed them but Menz played a screamer.

Good on ya mate! A great story.

They are rare, but there are some losses you kind of walk away from in a good mood.
I had seen him in the VFL a week earlier, but to finally come back to the AFL was great.
The Pies won easily, but a goal in each quarter and throw in a speccy for good measure; cats fans walked away from that game pretty happy.

I guess we can expect threads for every 50 gamer then. I look forward to the threads this week for Mark Blicavs for his 100th and maybe even more when teams are announced.
You just don't get it or you're trying to be clever?

100 games for whitecross too after three acls and missing 4 grand finals.

great that these guys are back playing regular footy. Sydney have shown admirable loyalty to premiership player Johnson and I would like nothing better in football than Woodward somehow overcoming his fourth and getting back on an afl list.

Reportedly offered a 1 year deal on minimum base + match payments. For seem reason the Cats don't seem keen to keep him. Wou,d be happy to see him at the Dogs, though his lack of defensive pressure is reportedly the same thing that got Stringer the Tijuana.

Think about it. If that first part is true and I am sceptical it is, but if it is then why would you want him? How often do guys who kick 40 goals get offered base money and tenure. Use your nose, if something smells fishy then it usually is.

Personally I think his body is just crocked.

His defensive pressure is about zero and I think it's largely due to his knee problems and simply not being able to cover the ground.

I wouldn't want him at Carlton for any more than bargain basement
