I'm expecting a very favourable response to this thread judging by everyone's undying love for big red (see most hated player thread).

Anyway congrats Lance Whitnall on 100 great games - the youngest Carlton player ever to reach the milestone and the 8th youngest of all players in history.

And I thought it was only 100 games! Sorry Lance, congrats on 110 great games!

Sure Lance had a bad start to this year, but he rarely played an average game before then. And Sheahan has jumped off his bandwagon anyway - as he said he was basically finished in his Monday column the week before he was BOG against Geelong. Another great bit of judgement from Mikey.

Is that your site? That's pretty impressive!

BTW, if you think Lance is overrated have a look at the marks column, as well as the goals for that matter - and then take a look at his age. Not many players have done what he's done at such a young age - perhaps not even Carey though I may be wrong about that.

Congrats Lancie, i don't care what anyone says he's a great player and i'm proud to have him on my team, 100 games will soon turn to 100 and hopefully one day 300 and more!!!

I have never ever said that Lance is as good a player as Carey. Not even close! All I said that what he has achieved so far in his career at such a young age is phenomenal. The fact that I said "not even Carey" shows how a great I think Carey is/was. He is the best footballer I've ever seen in my lifetime. If Lance goes on to be anything even close to Carey then even I would be amazed. BUT, what he has done by age 21 IS Carey like. I am only comparing them at that age, not overall.

Kernahan was better than Dermie.
