Was just consistently good throughout the year, although lucky he's surrounded by a sack of spuds so he took all the votes for himself. When you think about it the likes of Ablett, Fyfe and Kennedy just missed to many games whilst Selwood and Franklin weren't consistently good enough. Theres a reason why Priddis has now polled +100 votes in his career. Good player, Unlikely, however honourable winner.

Bad luck. He polled the votes. Get over it. Even if Ablett wasn't injured he should have gone anyway . That elbow vs the dogs warranted a suspension. Got off because the afl gave him a free pass because of who he is. Fyfes initial suspension IMO was a crock but the second one warranted. In any case., Priddis still polled the votes and would have finished 3rd if you give Ablett and fyfe more games/votes which is still damn good. Might not be a superstar to many but it goes to show if u work your socks off and keep chipping away you can go places.

You don't like it, suck it. The guy has his name forever etched in footballing greatness and will achieve more than 99 percent of you clowns.

And for all the bagging of Woewodin he was amazing in the year he won it. Yes he was average every year before that and terrible afterwards but he had 1 fantastic year and since the brownlow is over 1 year that's enough to win it, so there.

There's plenty of great players up the top of the turnover list. Priddis is an inside player who gets the ball out by hand. I'm not saying he's the most deserving winner, but people need to calm down with their criticism.

Fair enough. I don't think he was either but the bloke who was got suspended (twice). Ablett missed too many games, Pendles was a bit down, Danger (despite posting a big tally) looked sore a lot of it and Selwood's season wasn't as good as people were making out. Not sure any of them would have been a more worthy winner given their respective individual seasons.

While He has a lack of pace that catches him out on occasion but i have always been a fan of him he never gives up and carries our midfield week after week doing the hard stuff that many of our other players don't or can't do. he gets possessions against all opponents week in week out.
Good on him an unexpected but ultimately worthy winner

Um a nothing stat? Votes have generally been harder to get in 'average' sides too. Was just how the year worked out. Priddis had a terrific season and is a worthy winner.
