Despite causing us to plummet from expected 2024 finalist to 15th, this genius managed to get us to climb from just 1 umpiring decision from finals to 5th in only 2 seasons with zero retirements and only 3 best 22 players traded in. And being only in his 6th year as senior coach and 12th or 13th in the coaching system, he’s defied his inexperience in achieving such a monumental feat.

I always take the approach his is a sh!t coach. My reasoning is if he stuffs up like in the finals I’m right. Confirmation bias and all. Take that as a win.
If he proves my theory wrong, well the crows are winning. Take that as a win.

We ended up with double ups against Collingwood, Hawks and Gold Coast - 3 of the top 6. Not sure it gets any harder next year.

If we had to have 2026 double ups, would have Collingwood and Geelong with one of Brisbane, Gold Coast or Hawthorn.

I keep hearing about the draw being harder. We doubled up against Suns, Pies and Hawks, I don't think it gets harder than 3 finals winning sides, and we did finish 5th in the top group of 6. I think that aspect won't change, but we won't get 2 of the bottom 3 again, but then, would it have mattered if we played Saints, Bombers, Dogs or Melbourne an extra time instead? 3 of those were big away wins anyway. I can't see how our draw, at least theoretically, will end up much harder than this season. Only Port flying up the ladder could do it.
