MM is like an open wound. I supported him fully when he was ours - before he started insidiously manoeuvring for his own benefit rather than the club's. Even then I tried to keep the faith.

When he and Buttifant released their book I went into town and stood for ages to get a copy. But then I read it. It was such utter crap - so boring, so badly written and edited. Anyone who wants a free signed copy, just let me know. The book exposed him for what he was - self-seeking, with a fatally swollen ego.

Then he did the dirty on us after the 2011 GF, leaving Bucks in the mire. Maybe one day I'll be able to forgive that, and all the digs and undermining he's been guilty of since; but not today.

The flack Mick gets on here is unbelievable at times. Yes he's fallen out with Ed & Bucks, yes he's coaching another club. But really...

He came to Collingwood when we were absolutely f**ked as a club. We had nothing. He almost stole us a flag in 2002 with the most workman side ever. He broke the drought (20 years is a drought for us!) in 2010. I'll never forget that. The replay was one of the greatest days of my life. He orchestrated that.

I still have enormous respect for Mick and what he achieved with us. All the best Mick.
