Sorry for the tardiness of this message... but felt Peter and Central Districts should get a pat on the back... for a job well done...

Who wore 18 at North Melbourne before The KING??? Peter Jonas...

Posted in the Regional Leagues Boards already Rooboy.

Jonas has improved as a coach out of site since starting three years ago. He was a star at Centrals before going to Nth Melb and then had just about the unlikiest beginning to a VFL/AFL career ever.

He is still my favourite Central District Player of all time. You didn't see his best over there because of injury, the guy was a freak.

He became my favorite after one game... all the scrap book has is articles about him braking legs... a real shame...

He was the only North players quick enough... in the mind... to play alongside the Krakeour Boys...

Peter showed a great football brain in his time at the club...

I hate to say this but I agree. Being a Central supporter from way back Jonas was a champ. Boy!! didn't the family back in SA celebrate.. Hows that pooboy..we agree!!!!!

I just heard about the Jonas move too. No longer a rumour though. He has signed. Who's going to coach Centrals now??
