Agreed I've always been a big fan of Harvey.I've never seen a player still so willing to run when he is so buggered. Ican't imagine how many kilometres he's run over the years. Deserves all the accolades he gets.

Hands down the best player I've ever seen in my 15 years of watching VFl/AFL footy.

Harvs, you are an ornament to the game, a champion in every sense of the word.

Other kids had thier larger than life action film stars or fanciful comic book super people, but Robert Harvey was, is and always will be my hero.

There's been speculation he may retire this year, I bloody hope not. He has one medal missing from his collection, if anyone deserves it he does, as well as Buckley.

Actually Harvey/Stevens in temperament are very similar - both dont go for the glamour media, just get on with it and play some great football.

I think the term 'champions' is appropriate.

Just about the best I've seen in being able to run straight through a pack, with a wriggle of the hips. Certainly the best white man.

The only knock on him would be his kicking for goal, but a great champion.
