Well done on reaching 300 Kade. Sadly I won’t be there to watch the game but I really hope the boys crack in for you and get a win.

basically has no right to get off a football ground alive once - let alone 300 times - it's been like watching an under 12 kid going out to face thommo off the long run - only downside of this whole simmo thing is how dependent we still are on him - he had 18 touches in a quarter the other week ffs

That's insane isn't it …. not many players could achieve that at 22! A true club champ. If he was 6 years younger ….. who knows though, he may play for another 2 yet … he is a resilient unit.

Love you Simmo. When I was a kid I wanted, as most of us did, to be a Carlton champion. And while we have premiership heroes there's not many that I wish I was more than Simmo.

How far can he go? Could get to 308 this season just shy of SOS if he doesn't miss any. Potentially 3rd overall with 330 if he plays on next year and doesn't miss any.

Reckon he's the kind of guy that will bow out on his on terms while still a best 22 contributor. The question is how long until he reaches that decision? End of next year? The year after? Before he starts collecting his pension?...
