For a boy who's family, as well as himself, were avid Bombers fans, he would have loved to have landed there.
How lucky he was to avoid 2012 at that cheating lying place.
But from the day he landed in the Black and White nest he has given his all for our beloved club.
And now he has turned his back on bigger money to stay where his heart has grown.
So unlucky not to be a Copeland Trophy winner. That broken thumb cost him.
I'm so hoping that he will be Captain one day, but Treloars arrival might short circuit that.
But, a Magnificat 150, looking forward to the next 150.

On Saturday at the MCG Steele Sidebottom will play his 150th senior game for the Collingwood Football Club. Steele has been a stalwart of this team since his debut back in 2009, and even in only his second and third seasons, was a vital part of our Premiership and Grand Final teams.

Recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with pick 11 in the 2008 National Draft, after kicking 10 goals in the TAC Cup Grand Final that year, Steele has grown into one of the most consistent players at the club.

Now part of the leadership group, and the Vice Captain, Steele, at only 25 years old, could go on to play 300 games for the Pies.

Not as good as Pendlebury or Swan but when he plays with 2/3 other stars he seems to play to even a higher level than the stars.

Can be frustrating to watch but a loyal and talented player. When you think about what he has achieved (just to date) he would have to be really proud.

Does anyone remember Maxy and Tbe Footy Show early days in Steele's 1st year ? Maxy drove him into a back alley and pretended he was selling Collingwood gear that he had pinched from the club to a whole bunch of people hahahaha Steele was looking shocked and rather lost ..then this bloke offers him $100 for his thongs but even though Maxy was telling him to go ahead and make some $$ .. Our boy Steele wouldn't have a bar of it ....

Wizard, you think he could get an AA nomination in 2016? I reckon he might be slightly off the pace so far but the engine is starting to really cook with gas.

Not sure, missed those few games with suspension, would also be pretty difficult considering we won't be winning many games.
Confident he will crack it in the next few years though.
