Mate you always add quality to the Melbourne board - I think we've got quite a few who do actually.

When i was on here last night my missus asked me Jim Stynes had died.

I told here no and why would she think that. She said because of Wona's signature "Jim Stynes is ALWAYS with us". She raises a fair point, what is with that signature Wona?

Nice job W33, although wambat is clearly the biggest flog attached to this site, at least you gain some additional prestige on the bay.

Also, I missed the RAM module incident, so if someone could describe it to me, that would be appreciated.

Very true mate - Wambat, and many others amongst the lower-rent WCE/Brisbane/TLC trolls, along with at least a scattering of others, would easily fit that category.

As for the RAM thing, well, this particular group are going on now because I said, after a ridiculous degree of fixation on the issue from certain characters, that one reason why I edit a lot is because I often have my browser freeze up on me & have to restart it, because of a relative shortage of a certain type of memory needed to run various programs, which is called RAM.

Not exactly wildly controversial or particularly fascinating as a subject. But as I say, certain people in that group seem incredibly obsessed with the fact that I've edited a lot of my posts... very boring stuff really, but at least that one particular thread is reasonably amusing.

I don't see how this sort of trolling back & forth does anything much for the board here though. And I'm not alone in thinking that. As Capt_C said, it's just embarrassing when there's so much of that on our club board.

And the RAM stuff on that particular thread is actually reasonably funny, whereas this is just boring.

It was for a laugh. Obviously at your expense but my gawwwd if i had won flog of the year id expect a ribbing as well and i wouldn't be crying about it or multi quoting every post to justify myself.
 
Well, as I said earlier on, I'm not particularly fussed about the poll, as such - that's not what I've been mainly referring to. And I've gone back and further toned down my earlier responses to you by the way.

Wona i am sorry. Please except this as a true apology, didn't mean to cause you pain or harm. Was trying to have what i perceive as fun but as mentioned by other posters isn't fun or funny.

As for Big Sexc, don't label me as he/she either. I would never speak like a try hard homie and think that it is cool like BS likes to do when ever it seems to suit him/her. If i could prove some way that I'm not BS i would be happy to do it also. Good old big footy conspiracy theories.

TBH I didnt mind the thread - W33 definately deserves some recognition for his fine feat! But just ease up on the insults towards our fellow faithful unless you take it to the bay (even then, a bit of backup is usually appreciated).

Dont get me wrong - nothing wrong with a bit of friendly fire, just keep it friendly though and we'll all enjoy it :thumbsu:
