Great to see the reception that Harvs got from the WCE supporters before and after the game.

Awesome win for Harvs and more importantly kept our very, very, very slim chances of finals alive.

Big congrats to the Saints. Absolutely killed us in the first half with amazing pressure tackling and chasing. We couldnt get more than half a step in before being caught and turned over the ball way too easily because of the inferred pressure.
I was pleased with our 3rd qtr fightback but the Saints just stood up in the last and really deserved to win. Well done to Harvey on a brilliant career and 350 games - star player and really top bloke to go with it.
Cheers

Well done Saints! A big win for Harvey's 350th, what a shame you couldn't have celebrated the win, and Harvey's milestone a little closer to home :(

Blinder by Harvey in his 350th match - a very fitting result. Sepcial mentions to Dal Santo, Koschitzke (on fire in the first half!!!!), Montagna, Clarke and dare I say it... Baker. Shame Riewoldt looked a little impotent (not in that way...)

As rude as it sounds I'm glad to see the humble pie getting stuffed down the throat of the bandwagon Eagles supporters.

By the looks of things the WA media are finally going to start presenting footy the way it should be (objectively).

Top win, Sainters :thumbsu:. Played some excellent football in the 2nd quarter (good to see Kosi back into some form) and did a terrific job to hang on and win in the last when it looked like WC might manage to get over the line.

Great win the Sainters, and grats to Harvey on 350 :thumbsu:

Smashed us around the clearances, and Kosi was too good up forward. Great win :)

And personally thanks for getting that extra goal and giving the hawks a taste of 2nd top spot (nb I said taste, as I dont expect to remain there - but ya never know!)

Well played Saints.

Deserved your first half lead and then stood up in the last quarter when it looked like you might get overrun.

Harvey proved once again what a champion he is.

Well done sainters

Totally outplayed us in that first half - We tired our best in the 2nd half to get back into it and almost took the lead but to the Saints credit you managed another 2 goals to seal the game.

Congrats to Harvey - You are a true inspiration and a legend of the AFL and to play 350 games of AFL Football doenst happen that often and i was honoured to see Harvey play his 350th at Subi Oval - He got a standing ovation when the team ran out and when they left and it was great to see as he deserves all the recognition and accolades that he gets.

Well done. Not only for Harvs (my opinions of him are on the main board), but I thought we were outplayed in all areas today. People around me were asking at 3/4 time whether it was too much to expect us to win, and at that stage I still didn't think we deserved to win. After the game I know we didn't deserve to win.

Won't say anything about the umpires except that even if the count were 29-19 the other way, we still wouldn't have deserved to win.

I've bagged a few Saints players in the past, but today they showed me up. Kosi's first half was sensational and the overhead marking was something to behold. Also, it's something we haven't seen at Subi in a long time.

Although Riewoldt didn't have a great game, I was amazed by him nonetheless. I don't think I could name too many other players in the league (maybe J. Brown) who, as Riewoldt did today, can go for a mark and while falling to the ground still have the composure to make decisions. Unbelievable.

Well done on the win and especially to #35!

Great win Saints

Your pressure was exceptional today and the way your turned it on that second quarter was amazing

Your defense was superb in that last quarter and geez Kosi was unstoppable in that first half

Top win, thoroughly deserved

well done Saints

harvey is an inspiration and the last player to have played in the VFL since Alistair Lynch's retirement - great to see the champion honoured with a win for his 350th :thumbsu:
