I honestly don't think Geelong played that badly. We were willing to attack, run the ball, support and work hard for each other. When they kicked 7 straight we held our nerve and fought back. If we could hit a target who knows we might've won.

Great effort by Melbourne, but still would like to get a priority pick this year

It's funny how as soon as a very good side only wins by a reasonably small margin or are under the pump by being a few points down to a bottom side that they are instantly playing bad.

Hopefully we can get up on against North Melbourne and give their supporters some of their own back.

Geelong were not as great as I expected but as someone said previously we did exert a fair bit of pressure. Our guys worked for each other and didn't drop their heads at any stage. I think playing at SS actually helped us as it was a bit smaller and the cats couldn't run us off our legs like at the MCG.

Either way I'm happy with the improvement and yes those roos posters on this site are a bunch of flogs. I hope we put 'em in their place but won't hold my breath at this stage.
