Congratulations hawks you were the best team on the day and that's all that counts. I can see some real great contests between us over the next few years. Luke Hodge is toally deserving of the NS as well.
 
Congratulations. I may be a West Coast supporter but since we had no chance this season Iv been hoping you guys made it. Barraking for the Hawks all through the finals, congratulations to all you real Hawks supporters(not me obviously, just on occasions;)) who had faith in your team. Was friggin awesome to watch!!!!!!

I agree with everything in those two posts. Well done guys, you were awesome today, and deserved to take the chocolates. :thumbsu: Bad kicking is bad football, and we showed that adage to be true today.
 
Congratulations guys!! The best team won. I was so shoping that Crawf would get the medal and he did. What a day, you guys deserve every accolade and it was a brilliant game. I cried when Crawf got his medal what a champ!! AWESOME!

Congratulations Hawks, I was barracking for you but I honestly didn't think you could do it. A well-deserved win - you were clearly the better team.

Also congratulations to all the ex-Port guys: Gilham, Guerra, Dimma, Clarko, and of course Dew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mate, if the worst thing that happens in our lifetime is we lose a game of footy, then we need to remember how lucky we are to live in this country and have this wonderful game to argue about! :D

Today was everything that's great about being Australian. 100k at the G, two teams going hard at it in the warm spring sunshine, people across Australia getting blotto and shouting at their TV, then going to Bay 13 to hang shi* on their fellow human beings.

It's the peaks and lows of emotion that makes you feel you're alive. I was where you are right now some 12 months ago. I remember how good it felt. I want to taste it again. It wasn't our day today and the better side won.

Even right now, as gutted as I am, I know I'm very lucky to be an Australian and have this great game to get so emotional about. :thumbsu:
