The word around Freo is that Connor has peeved off his teammates and the club reckons he may be on the table. This is despite him having signed a 3 year contract a couple of months ago.
Would be very sorry to lose Connor. Played out of position at HB by Lyon. V good inside talent.

Blakely looked like he’d be really good last year then got injured. Been below average this year. Freo absolutely shouldn’t trade him, worth so much more to freo than he is to anyone else.

I recall GC and/or Brisbane were interested, but it looks like he's only "gettable" for Victorian clubs.

Carlton - Too much going on in this trade period to get it done perhaps.

Collingwood - Already got lots of good mids.

Essendon - definitely suitable

Geelong - How many mids do you need?

Hawks - not sure

Melbourne - Probably got enough players like him, but perhaps he could be paired with Langdon in a trade for pick 3?

North Melbourne - Could suit them

Richmond - Not sure they need anything really

St Kilda - Not sure they have many players like him, so he'd be appealing to them

Western Bulldogs - Could add something to their midfield but I think their mix is perfect as is

I don't think Blakely is just for Victoria club, Victoria media try to get Blakely on the cheap. I think going to SA or Sydney might be good for his career too. GC might not be the best place for him because he might call sickie and go surfing.

He's anything but slow. He'd be a bargain for any club that picks him up.

But rest assured, North Melbourne of all clubs wouldn't pick up a bloke leaving a club under these circumstances.

Gold Coast seems like the best fit.
