Fantasic recognition of a great season. Midfielder is the hardest spot to get a AA selection in, especially as a player at a non Vic club.

He could win more AA’s than anyone we’ve had. Tredrea with 4 is the most, I’d put Connor’s over/under at 3.5.

Well done Connor. After a dreadful run with injury and questionable coaching your hard work and talent has paid off. Looking forward to watching you grow and dev lop furthet over the coming years.I suspect this AA will b the first of many.

Rozee said Boak is trying to get him over to America this pre-season for one of his big training regimes.

Connor could seriously take his game to the next level next year
Inb4 our master coach moves him to the back pocket.......

Congrats Connor - outstanding young player!!!

Well done Connor Rozee. His progress was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise forgettable season.

It could be the masterstoke move for the 2023 season! Play Rozee as a halfback for the first four games, then suddenly switch him to the midfield halfway through the fifth game, taking the opposition by surprise! Ok, so we might lose the game by a few points, but think of the positives ...
1] Sets the season up for a big exciting finish, having to come from behind & make up lost ground. Everyone love an underdog ... Right?
2] Ken Hinkley gets swamped with praise for his brilliant move. The master coach strikes again!

Selection not justified but it’s great for him and the club for some recognition
LOL, you've been reading too much of the Crows board.

5th in the coaches votes is the absolute best indication.

100% justified, in fact had he been put in the midfield earlier he probably would have justified a starting spot.

Is he also taking Carl Williams so he can try and turn him into more of a Carl Lewis?

Connor polled more votes than anyone in the Coaches Award after he was finally moved on-ball in Round 5 against Carlton in that second half. This is just another indictment of Hinkley's inability to be ahead of the game. Imagine Connor was given the keys to the mid-field from Rd 1?

Unnecessary and unproductive.

The great irony of all that was, Walsh reminds me of Kane Cornes circa 2005-7 but with better foot disposal and more involved positioning.

Their numbers, give or take a few contested possessions, are very close.
