Thats KC, a great read indeed, provides a good insight into how the punishment was delivered and his reaction. On the surface, it seems only good may come of it, of course we will wait to see the proof in the pudding... from my perspective, I hope that starts this week.

The way he went back to Coburg and dominated was a good sign. As for the interview you have to take it with a grain of salt because it is obviously PR. He could be giving these token responses but be bitter as they come and still be a mess of a bloke.

Actions speak louder than words and how he handles himself on and off the field going forward is the true determining factor.

I think it's great he met up with Stevie J. I think they are similar in the way they approach the game with their flair and arrogance.

Hopefully this will be the turning point for him and he'll become a real line breaker for us.

The suspension could work out well for all involved. Prior to his suspension Connors was showing some serious talent in the AFL. If his attitude to training and preparation have improved he may end up being an elite half back. The kid has some serious flair and skill as well as a good frame.

Will believe it when I see it. He was an idiot before he was drafted and seems he was an idiot still 8 weeks ago. Personally I don't think he has the brain power to make it.

Sounds like you know him jihg, anything in particular that made him an idiot??
We could start with his involvement in a street bashing prior to being drafted that saw the innocent recipient hospitalised in a coma with life time affects. Obnoxious to the point it turns violent especially when he has a few beers on board which I think we all found out about a bit more in Sydney.

Talent yes he has but if by now he hasn't learned that he needs to pull his head in then he never will. He will come back this season he will show his talent and at some point next season we will regret not trading or delisting him.

Even Wallace came out and said he had been warned more than the average footballer should be and yet it never sank in. We will be better off moving him on come trade week.

Yeah, difficult situation. There's no doubt he is a loose cannon.

I guess its about Hardwick trying to channel the energy into something meanful, like a Richmond premiership :p

Sometimes it takes guys a while before they realise whats going on in life. Maybe Connors will, maybe he won't. Time will tell.
