Young Joe Daniher just completed his 11th straight game kicking at least two goals. This got me wondering what the record for such an achievement would be.
A quick look says Tony Lockett had 23 games in a row kicking at least two, Hudson a whopping 36 and Coleman 37, so it's far from a record, but is an interesting exercise nonetheless.
Of current players, the obvious one that sprung to mind was Franklin (as the most prolific goal scorer of our current times. Franklin has kicked at least 2 goals in a 14 game stretch that started with his 13 goals against North a few years ago.
Are there any others you can think of? What does this sort of statistical fact mean?
