i note that Geelong kicked the last 23 goals of their match against Frementle. Is this a record? Does anybody keep this sort of stat?

Wow Cats love to beatup on the unsuccessful clubs. 161 over saints, 130 odd over freo, 150 over tigers.Champion Data incorrectly stated it was. Technically, Geelong’s win in 1899 vs. St Kilda counts. IIRC, the score was 23.24.162 to 0.1.1

Would it be safe to say that Geelong holds a record for most consecutive scoring shots? The story with the 1899 game against St Kilda was that the Saints only point was the first score of the game. Followed by 47 scoring shots to the Cats.South Melbourne scored 23 goals to nil after half time v St.Kilda in 1919 R12. They also scored four goals to two in the second quarter, but it's impossible to decipher the sequence from available match reports.
The Age: "Sinclair received the ball on the wing, and with a difficult screw kick obtained St.Kilda's first goal, which was followed by one from Talbot. This closed St.Kilda's goal scoring for the day."
Argus: "At the beginning of the second term, James and Ostberg (?) missed chances within a few yards of South Melbourne's goal. Sinclair snapped St.Kilda's first, and Talbot got the second with a long kick from an angle. Practically St.Kilda's opposition to their opponents ended at half time."
South Melbourne could've scored anywhere from 23 to 27 consecutive goals that day.
Just don't mention the umpiring in that game.Would it be safe to say that Geelong holds a record for most consecutive scoring shots? The story with the 1899 game against St Kilda was that the Saints only point was the first score of the game. Followed by 47 scoring shots to the Cats.
I remember the Cats going in dry against the Bears one day, and the Demons, Cats have had some massive wins.Would it be safe to say that Geelong holds a record for most consecutive scoring shots?
