Wasn't trying to have a go at you. I like both, and I haven't even ranked yet. All I'm saying is that McDonald's shit kicking may well be combated by Watts' awesome disposal, but in the same way Watts' ineptitude when playing on a man is outshone by how well McDonald does.

I agree - I just would rather we don't get into those kind of discussions is all, I just don't want to have to wade through pages of disagreement like in the Round 1 team thread!!!

A few points...

* Watts will become our best and most important player this year.
* Top 5-6 players should generally consist of those who make up the spine.
* Sylvia has to be top 5 on potential to break open a game (needs consistency)
* Grimes is rated too highly in most ppls top 22
* Jetta needs to be given a decent opportunity this year as a small crumbing/defensive fwd in place of
Davey - sad to say, but think Flash might be history. (hope not)

Cmon man. Watts is a much better player. Will be one of the most important if not the most important player in our side this year. Who else do you trust to kick out of defence in our backline. My thinking is that TMac can be replaced, not sure if Watts can.

Realistically you can throw a blanket over 12-22

Surprises how many people don't have jones as number 1 , no midfield at all with him out and I have jamar high because of how stuffed we are without him ...

Also I think if we had the right midfield depth grimes could go back to the hbf, I'm not sold on him being a mid yet

Especially from users, who don't even support the club. David Rodan is a dangerous player, but he is very inconsistent. If he had the consistency, he'd still be at Port Adelaide, hopefully he can rectify that, but right now, I have to completely disagree with you. Also, your comment is flawed, because you can only compare David Rodan to about 8 other players in that 22, as comparing him to Mids, Tall-mid forwards, or rucks is completely irrelevant. He can only compared to Jones, Blease, Mckenzie, Brynes, Sylvia, Viney,Trengove and maybe Grimes. He is not 'better' than most of these. I've now identified how poorly thought out your comment was, so you can either provide us with a best 22, or simply G&GF.

Ok PureFooty, take it easy mate... Patty Healey has provided a couple of constructive comments on our board, and just because this one is a little out of place is no reason to tell him to GAGF. If we can't accept someone's honestly provided opinion, the board will be a very boring place. Yes we'll go hard on trolls, but FFS go easy on the bloke. Especially given he's a North fan... We don't see much of use from them here, so his constructive efforts should be applauded!

I think I'm going to leave it open for another few days so we can get a few more 22's in - we've got 10ish so far IIRC, so I'd like a few more!!
