I was Buckley's harshest critic. But what you wrote is sensationalist shit. The club has come a massive way this year. By playing a team so young, the dip we've had the last few weeks is to be expected. 4 or so players hadn't played more than a handful of games. A lot were under the 50 game mark.

The improvement and development we've had this year has been satisfying. We took it up to Hawthorn and he coached so well against the best team that night. His gameplan nearly brought Hawthorn undone and, I daresay, opposition clubs will be looking to copy it when they play Hawthorn.

Everyone relax and stop being nuffie supporters when we have a loss.

Western bulldogs, St Kilda, GWS and Melbourne have come massive ways this year. Richmond has taken huge steps, we my my friend have stayed the same, as our current form and ability may well see us finish worse than last year. So you tell me the improvement? What l have seen this year is the blooding of a few players who have shown a bit, our disposal be continually woeful, lack of goal kicking power, and a complete breakdown in effort or ability when it counts. Two seasons now where we cannot win games at the business end of the year, show not much improvement to me. We were ranked highly in certain areas / game stats, but that was due to the start we had this year, only again to see a shambolic end to it.

I dare say any news out of Collingwood that Bucks has been extended, and the membership figures will drop dramatically. I'm tipping a hold is on that extension until this time next year. My opinion would be to review his position at seasons end.

It would be beyond foolish to give a guy that's run a team into the ground a contract extension.

It's like rewarding a crap CEO where the stock price has plummeted 80% and the performance of the company is in a downward trend.

We need a turnaround specialist type of coach, not a 'believer' or 'Wannabe' type of guy like Buckley.

Contract extension? More like his contract should be torn up and flushed down the toilet! Rewarding such mediocrity is tantamount to treason! Why should we put up with such bs? This has turned into a personal playfield for a coach whom the club feels deserves success due to past service as a player. Might as well change the clubs name to Buckleywood

He has another year on his Current Contract

It's not like any other team is going to poach Buckley, his not a great catch.
Would have trouble giving him away at this rate.
