Hawthorn Football Club have announced the first changes to its list with Kaiden Brand, Teia Miles, David Mirra and Darren Minchington all informed they will not be offered contracts for the 2020 season

A bit shocked about Brand but he and Miles should get another gig. Brand not contracted in 2020 then

Very disappointing about those two. They both showed enough in previous years to suggest that they could become best 22 players but just never managed to continue improving enough.

%& On 23 October 2019, Hawthorn announced that Lewis had signed a multi-year extension to his current contract (which was due to expire in 2020). Accordingly, while the contract length is unknown, by the wording of Hawthorn's announcement, the earliest it could expire is the end of 2022. On 24 October 2019, Hawthorn announced that Impey had signed a "long term" contract with Hawthorn. Given that Impey had been contracted to Hawthorn until the end of 2020, by the wording of Hawthorn's announcement, it is likely that Impey would not be out of contract until the end of 2022.
