Sorry, i mis-read it. I thought it meant he is currently a bit part player.
 
The only source of what JPK is after is on the trade board? Has there been any further news/suggestions that this is true if not no credibility at all..... We don't normally get these things wrong at the club, pretty confident he'll re-sign,
If he is after $1 million we will still make the right decision, even if it means moving him on ( don't want that, but we don't want to be strangled either) Beatson and Co will be working this over.....
Normally there would be some kind of rumblings with players I've not seen one word regarding Kennedy....

Let JPK try to get a mil, would not even get close at any team. If someone does try to get him, and we can't match the offer, imagine the trade value? Much as I'd like to keep him, we don't need a Cloke situation, nor do we want to keep players who don't wan tto be at the club

As much as I love the guy we can't have his contract screwing the rest of the list. Especially 2013 uncontracted players. My gut says that he has/will sign at some stage. Little to no air time on the matter is a good thing

Yep, how many players actually want to leave Sydney? Let's leave out Jolly for obvious reasons, who else wants to leave, not many. You'd think players would be queuing up to get here with our record of turning out better players
 
RO'K was set on leaving a few years ago.

What stopped him? Decent coin? Didn't want to take chance in PSD? (He wanted to join Hawthorn)
 
Hypothetically speaking.. if JK3 were to ask for a trade back to Hawthorn... what would it take from our end?
 
personally... Swans 1st rounder and JPK swap for Buddy.

Well, i reckon he's worth a pick in the top 5. Considering Hawks 1st rounder will be around the 20 mark, they'll have to throw in a decent youngster as well as that pick.

I agree he is worth a top 5 pick.. which player in your opinion would be considered a "decent youngster"?

I am delighted with the way our uncontracted players are managed in comparison to Adelaide. We have a few guns uncontracted but i guess being premiers helps :thumbsu:

Though i am quite sure 2 or 3 on that list will be lost to free agency in coming years

Things can change. Although he is certainly safe for the next 3 years at least. We'll have a lot of vets retiring within the 3-4 year timeframe with Goodes, RO'K and a vast majority of our backline, but we've done well in recruiting from other clubs and we've drafted pretty well the last few years so i reckon we should still be thereabouts. It has been really pleasing that we no longer need to rely on Goodes which is a massive relief.
