I've also got big concerns about Membrey as I'm sure others do. I've been reading as much info about him as I could since the very day we recruited him. Not since Micky have we actually home-grown a quality forward and he could be the next one. But it's difficult to see him making a team that contains Franklin, Goodes, Reid and Tippett. I get the impression that the coaches would rather play midfielder-types at the feet of our talls. Goodes would have to retire or there would have to be an injury to the forward line.

Membrey has to be kept to replace Goodes, I would hate to see Adam go out in a similar way to ROK. The end comes faster than we like sometimes....

Article says Harry Marsh is contracted for next year. Given they did a whole review of 2014 and preview of 2015 article with him, I think we can take it as granted he'll still be at the club next year.

Adam Goodes - Unrestricted (18 years)
Ted Richards - Unrestricted (10 years)

Richards and Goodes will not be a problem here but even though he can be a pain at times I don't want to lose Grundy at the end of the year as that will mean we will have no tall defenders with any experience.

Daniel Hannebery - Restricted (8 years)
Mike Pyke - Restricted (8 years)
Nick Smith - Unrestricted (10 years)

Pyke will probably not be around at the end of 2016 but as for the other players on that list I really do not want to lose any of them.

No way tippett goes. Look at his salary as an extension of Buddys. Bud is far more dangerous snd effective when he has a second key forward taking guys off him. Just look at Buddys performance in the first 6 rounds last year compared to when tippo came back.

I meant when Tippo's contract is up, another couple of years, men his size generally don't last thta long as key forwards. I think turning him into a ruckman might extend his career. We are talking about ways to cut spending, are we not?

Foote is a first year rookie not second. I think Grundy will leave. Jetts will probably go home if Goodsie retires. Teddy will retire a Swan as will Pykie.
